Band Members

Phil Barber
Drummer/Percussion
A band wouldn't be complete without a drummer, and FAZE 4 couldn’t have asked for a better one than the one and only Phil Barber. They play an instrumental role in the success and musical progression of the band. Phil has vast experience playing at home and abroad and was Steve and Gene's original drummer in the very successful 'Cryin Out Loud' days.

Steve Gill
Guitarist/Vocals
Steve Gill has been with FAZE 4 from the very beginning. As Guitarist, they take on quite a lot of responsibility, from fine-tuning the musical arrangements to assisting other bandmates with perfecting their performances. Steve is a guitarist's guitarist and is widely respected on the circuit.Â
His work over the years includes major contributions to bands such as 'Seven Percent'...'Even Stevens'...' The Overweights' and a fabulous Carpenters tribute band.

Guitarist/Vocals
Gene started playing guitar from an early age. Sharing guitar and singing duties with Steve, they form a strong partnership which is evident in their very successful duo Deuce. His musical style has been influenced by bands such as 'The Beatles'...'The Rolling Stones'... 'The Kinks' etc. His introduction by Steve to the band, 'Prime Time' was Gene's big break on the circuit and co-forming the ever popular 'Second Image'. Gene also appeared in the 'Phil Collins/ Genesis' tribute band.
Gene's love of songwriting has enabled him to put out three singles which are available to download on iTunes, Amazon and Google Play and plans to release another very shortly.

Gary Donovan
Keyboards/Vocals
Gary is a self-taught pianist, having played since early childhood. He has also taught himself guitar, bass, drums and more, as well as being a classically trained flautist.
He joined session band Potential Ferrets in the 80s as vocalist/keyboard player, and shortly after was drafted into their bassist's other band, Nigel's Uncle, on keyboards, gigging the London and Kent circuit until the demise of the band in 1991.
Shortly after, the winds of fortune created a fortuitous chance encounter with Steve Gill and Steve Carter and Gary was recruited to complete the highly successful trio, Even Stevens, in which he and Steve Gill still appear as a duo to this day.
He was also Richard to Jenny Sinclair's Karen in the very popular Carpenters Magic tribute band also with both Steves, touring theatres such as Cambridge.
